Simon Jordan believes that Bukayo Saka is on his way to becoming a £100million player.
The Arsenal and England forward has vastly improved his game in recent months, with his performances making him one of the most sought-after youngsters in football.
Saka has been impressive so far this season for the Gunners, and has now got off the mark for the national team in the World Cup after he netted twice in the 6-2 win against Iran.
There are now questions being asked over just how far he can go in his career, with talkSPORT’s Jordan in the belief that his price tag could reach astronomical figures.
When asked if Saka is £100m footballer in your opinion, he replied: “Saka is one of those players that’s on the cusp of launching what will be potentially a stellar career.
“I’ve got some very close friends that are very big Arsenal fans, that have been raving about this kid for about two-and-a-half, three years, when he first broke into the Arsenal first team. We know he’s not a surprise.
“We move into the territory for the purpose of what you value players at, how good players are often determined by their price tags.
“What he is, is a player that has unique ability, he’s on a journey where he can probably write his own ticket. When we talk about ‘what is a £100million footballer?’ You look at Jack Grealish because he is the incarnation of it.

“You look at Neymar. I don’t think that he’s potentially at the Neymar level and may never get to that but what he is, is a very, very good player.
“In the economics of football, which is ‘La La Land’, you would be able to make a case, not just off the back of the fact that he’s done well in one game, but the component parts of what he’s achieving at Arsenal, what he’s beginning to achieve at international level, and given his age and ability.
“He will be on a trajectory that, if Arsenal were to sell him, you’d be starting to move into that territory.”
He later added: “You could find yourself making an argument that at some point, if this boy continues his progress, he and a couple of others that this question doesn’t lead towards, may well be in the £100million bracket.”
Arsenal are believed to be confident in their ability to agree a new deal with Saka to keep him at the Emirates Stadium, with the 21-year-old’s current contract expiring in 2024.
The winger could prove to be crucial once again for England at the World Cup, and his brace against Iran will surely put him in contention for a starting spot on Friday when the Three Lions face the USA.
