Cornish surf and music festival, Boardmasters, is expected to draw in massive crowds again next year, with record-breaking ticket sales predicted.
The event, which takes place in Watergate Bay, Newquay, is set to return on 9-13 August, 2023, with an exciting line up crammed with big names in pop and electronic music.
Festival organisers have announced that over 70,000 people had signed up for pre-sale tickets in the build-up to the general sale, warning that places could sell out fast.
How can I get Boardmasters 2023 tickets?
Camping and weekend tickets were made available on pre-sale at 10am on Thursday 24 November for those that had signed up online.
However, due to increased demand year on year, the organisers have said they cannot guarantee there will be tickets left after the pre-sale event.
If there are any tickets available for the general release, these will be made available to buy from Friday 25 November on official ticket agents, SEE Tickets and Big Green Coach.
The organisers have asked people to use the official resale platform, Tixel, and to avoid unofficial sources.
How much are Boardmasters tickets?
Those buying a ticket can book with a £40 deposit and pay upfront or opt for a £40 deposit and then pay for the rest at the end of April. Day tickets will be available in the new year.
Tickets are available at various prices:
- Wednesday Camping tickets – start from £189
- Thursday Camping tickets – start from £179
- VIP Camping tickets – start from £269
- 3 Day No-Camping tickets – start from £185
Boardmasters tickets are sold in pricing tiers. Once one tier sells out, they move up to the next tier. So, the earlier you purchase a ticket, the cheaper it will be.
Organisers have said that the tickets can include boutique, pre-pitched, reserved pitch, and coach packages, plus various surf and adventure upgrades.
