Indian Expat Foils Rs 6 Crore Robbery In Dubai Office

Dubai Police honour Indian expat Keshur Kara Chavada Karu Ghela, 32, at his workplace


An alert Indian expat was honoured by the Dubai Police at his office for his bravery in stopping a thief fleeing with money value 2.7 million dirhams in Dubai’s Deira district.

Senior officers from the Dubai Police shocked Keshur Kara Chavada Karu Ghela, 32, an Indian expat, at his office on Monday, to honour him, the Khaleej Times newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The incident befell final month within the Naif space of Deira district, the place two Asians, carrying two baggage containing Dh 4,250,000 in money of various currencies, had been intercepted by the suspect, who snatched a bag and made a run for it, the report quoted the director of Naif police station, Dr Major General Tariq Tahlak, as saying.
